Standards
This site is built to substantially conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We design for keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatibility, AA-level color contrast, descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and respect for reduced-motion preferences.
What we do
- Skip-to-content link on every page.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes where helpful for assistive technology.
- Alternative text on meaningful images, with decorative images marked as such.
- Animations respect the user's prefers-reduced-motion setting.
- Color contrast tested against AA contrast thresholds.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time milestone. We re-test the site after material changes and welcome corrections from users who encounter a barrier we have missed.
